From the romanesque parish of Saint Floriano, built with stones and tuff in the XII century on a sepulchral site, as attested by the re-use of some altars and funeral stones; the bell tower is made of tuff and stones and at the top of the tower there are some double lancet windows; after a visit to the cloister, you can re-start walking northwards through street Valle of Pruviniano, direction Valgatara.

The crucifixion inside the cloister. Placed under the fresco, this stone carved representing a fountain and two winged lions. |
Reached the capital of Corte Rugolin dedicated to Our Lady, let's turn left along the sign n.11, close to Fasanara's court, leading us to the starting point of the ridge. |
There you can turn right into street Cà del Pipa, that lets us reach to the mountain Gradella between vineyards, olive groves and cherry-trees. Once arrived to the capital placed between two tall cypresses, go on the left side to turn immediately right and cross the mountain of Sant'Urbano, seeing around you the beautiful view towards Valgatara valley or those one of Fumane and Molina (Turning right immediately, you can reach Pozzo ofValgatara). |
Once passed across Tenda quarter, where you can find a portal of 1771 and a capital dedicated to Our Lady with the child Jesus, you arrive on the provincial street that reaches Marano of Valpolicella; |
from this point let's walk until Pezza quarter, and where there's the capital of Our Lady with a fountain of 1925, turn left in an uphill path, |
then join another capital of 1866 dedicated to Madonna, with the roof made of stone plaques supported by two columns. On the top of the arch, there's a written indication AVE MARIA 1866 P L. Upside, on the wood, there's the inscription: A CHI RECITA UN'AVE MARIA INDULGENZA DI 100 GIORNI CONCESSA DA SUA EMINENZA IL CARDINALE L. M. DI. C. 1886. |
Now before the hairpin curve, on the right side there's a steep staircase that quickly lead us to teh sanctuary dedicated to Saint Maria Valverde. Built in 1862 on previous pagan buildings but not yet documented, it has three naves and three apses, on the altar there's a statue made of wood of 1516 representing Our Lady with child Jesus on her legs. The bell tower made of Prune's stones dominates the connected graveyard. The view from this place is truly pleasant and you can see also the far lowland. |
Inside the church with three naves, detail of the Crucifixion on the cross made of iron. |
